The Tutorial is a game mode which consists of a single short level to introduce basic controls and tactics. It will automatically run the first time you play, after which it can be selected as a game mode at the game creation screen to play again.
The tutorial does not have difficulties, achievements or high scores, and most of the level is scripted, with you having to follow instructions to continue.
It covers:
- Movement
- What the different parts of the interface shows you
- Firing and reloading
- Moving to cover
- Pain and adrenaline
- Picking up and dropping weapons
- Manual targeting
- Using items from the ground
- Hunker and aim buffs
- Using items from inventory
