Functionality[]

Melee attacking an enemy with a gun will automatically switch to melee weapon if present. Also gives a stacking crit chance bonus activated when switching between a ranged and melee weapon, and vice versa.

Description[]

Yarr! You fight head on, neither melee nor ranged weapons are an issue for you. In fact, if you're about to melee an adjencent enemy with a gun, you'll automatically switch to the first carried melee weapon if present! Swaping once between melee and ranged is free after a kill!

Additionally every kill increases a critical chance bonus that will be applied to all attacks after swapping weapons between melee and ranged - the bonus resets to the other weapon class after kill.

LEVEL 1 - +25% bonus per kill, up to 50% crit chance

LEVEL 2 - +50% per kill up to 100%

LEVEL 3 - +100% per kill up to 100%

Notes[]

  • Synergy with Assassinate: Allows the player to activate the skill without switching to their melee weapon first.
  • When diagonal from an enemy and holding a gun, shift-attack will swap weapons and make a melee attack, also preventing follow-up.
