Mimir Habitat is a side branch for the first moon, Callisto. It leads to the special level, Calsec Central.

Levels of Mimir Habitat are brightly lit wide corridors and rooms decorated with seating and plants. Vending machines can sometimes be found. Next to no presence of demon-type enemies.

Enemies[]

  • Security Drone
  • CalSec Sentry
  • CalSec Bot
  • MDF Sentry
  • Former Grunt
  • Former Sergeant
  • Former Soldier
  • Former Guard
  • Former Grenadier
  • Former Commando
  • Former Heavy

Manufacturer Perk[]

Gear found in Mimir Habitat, not including AV or Unique items, will have the Mimir Defence Force manufacturer perk. This gives +1 optimal range to weapons or +1 to number of mod slots for armors and headgear.

Branch Mission[]

Each level in Mimir Habitat has an additional enemy called an MDF Sentry. It behaves in same way as Calsec Sentry, but have bulkier graphics and slightly more HP (60). Interacting with the MDF Sentry before killing it will allow you to download MDF codes, which will increase your level or Mimir Clearance. You can check your Mimir Clearance level on the equipment page.

At the terminal, at the end of CalSec Central you will have more options if your Mimir Clearance is higher. At MDF 1 you can reboot MDF after shutting down CalSec, which converts all remaining MDF sentries to your side and allows them to ignore bot level transition limits for the rest of Callisto. At MDF 2 you can manufacture prototypes at station for 3 charges, selected from list of 4 exotic MDF weapons, and the list expands to 6 weapons at MDF 3.

CalSec Central[]

CalSec Central has both entrance and exit in a foyer on the west side of the level. Two large doors lead to two connected big halls where all enemies await. The enemies always include a CalSec Bot which will drop a red keycard if killed, if no red keycard has previously dropped in the game.

Beyond them is a room lined with dormant MDF sentries. Passing through this room will cause random sentries to activate and attack, one every few turns. Killing these sentries gives no experience or ammo (but do drop power orbs), so you can run past them. Be warned that you may take a lot of damage doing so in the open.

Through this room is a keycard-locked door leading to a terminal from which CalSec can be shut down, instantly disabling all mechanical units in the level (and all remaining Callisto levels, except the CalSec Warden).

Enemies[]

Same as general branch population.

Known Bugs[]

  • Version 1.5: Friendly MDF sentries may still follow you out of Mimir Central after rebooting MDF even if the sentries were killed. This appears to happen if a sentry is attacked before it turns on automatically.
