Micro launcher is a magazine-fed, exotic rocket launcher that can fire up to four shots consecutively before needing to be reloaded. Whilst it has a smaller area of effect than the ordinary rocket launcher, its higher base damage and its ability to make quick follow-up shots against anything that survives the initial rocket makes it extremely powerful. In addition, the smaller splash damage radius makes it less likely that you will injure yourself when using it against closer targets.
Given that rockets become rather abundant by mid-Europa, keeping this beast of a weapon fed isn't particularly difficult, either.
Other than its limited modding potential (as it can only be modded once), the micro launcher is a direct upgrade over the rocket launcher and should always replace it if you are fortunate enough to find one.
