Manufacturer perks are Weapon perks which apply to basic weapons (and armor) found in specific branches. They do not consume any mod slots.

Manufacturer perks only apply to normal or exotic weapons, and are not found on AV weapons. Weapons found in the regular levels or the final level of the branch will have the perk, but sublevels such as storage rooms will not. Non-AV weapons made at manufacturing stations in branches will have the perk.

Weapons with manufacturer perks will have the abbreviation of that perk added as a prefix to their item name.
