Level events are a randomly occurring event which alters a location in some way. Many of them give XP rewards for completing their challenge.
Level events cannot occur on the first or last level of any moon, or on special levels, but any other level can have an event including side branches. Only one event can occur on any given level.

- ↑ The option to restore the power is still present after all the enemies are cleared, but expending multitool that way does not award any experience (and is in effect a waste of a multitool).
Infestation Events change which enemies are encountered in a level. Turrets are not affected.
