Basic Armor and headgear that roll as advanced can have one or more special modifiers, in addition to various stat bonuses. Certain armors and headgear always have certain modifiers. Further perks can be added with mod packs.

Armor modifiers[]

  • Aim assist: Pressing Wait once will raise your Aim bonus to 100% instead of 50%.
  • Arm Exoskeleton: increases melee damage by 25%, +1 inventory slot
  • Auto-repair: Repairs itself under 30% durability until it reaches this value.
  • Auto-med X: Free healing upon level transition. Similar to the Marine's passive.
  • Automatic reloader: Reload SMGs and automatics 50% faster.
  • Capacitor matrix: receiving damage recharges class skill (up to 100%).
  • Carrier: +1 inventory slot
  • Compartments: +2 inventory limit.
  • CQC padding: melee damage resistance (75%).
  • Danger Monitor: Slightly increases dodge. (+5% additive).
  • Durable: Doubles armour durability.
  • Duramesh: This armor is virtually indestructible.
  • Fire Resistant: partial burn protection (+50%).
  • Fireproof: Resist burning status. [1]
  • Handgun reloader: Reload pistols and revolvers 50% faster.
  • Health Monitor: Increases all healing received by 20%.
  • Heated: Resist frozen/chilled status. [1]
  • Kinetic shield: Damage reduction at 50% of dodge value.
  • Loading feed: Partially reloads automatics on moving.
  • Mimir Defence Force: +1 Mod capacity
  • Medi-fiber: regenerates up to 50% of health at the cost of durability.[2]
  • Meshed: bleed status immunity.
  • Metabolic boost: Reduces time taken to move by 10%.
  • Necrotic: auto-repairs by draining the users life force (each turn drains 1hp to restore 5%)
  • Padded: partial cold protection (+50%).
  • Painkiller: Increases pain reduction per turn by 50%
  • Powered: Reduces time taken to move by 20%.
  • Redline catalyst: linear damage increase when below 50% health.
  • Plated: Increases protection value by 1.
  • Sealed: Resist poison status.[1]
  • Shotgun reloader: Reload shotguns 50% faster.
  • Swift: Reduces dodge penalty by 10% (additive).
  • Tech Monitor: Increases durability repaired by 50%.
  • Thorn matrix: half of received melee damage is reflected.
  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 Says resist, but you'll be completely immune to this status effect.
  2. Heals 10 HP per turn at the cost of 5% of the base durability. Synergizes with Durable perk.

Class-specific modifiers[]

These modifiers will not be seen unless you are playing the class they were meant to be used with.

  • Adrenal (Marine only): 25% more healing from activating Adrenaline.
  • Tenacity (Marine): 5% more healing after a level transition.
  • Bloodrush (Marine): Adrenaline boosts your damage by +50% for its duration.
  • Silent (Scout only): Get an extra free shot while in stealth.
  • Camoboost (Scout): Get 4 more turns in stealth.
  • Ambush (Scout): After breaking Stealth, you retain +50% critical chance for 3 seconds.
  • Smoke-gen (Technician only): +1 range to the coverage of Smoke screen.
  • Pockets (Technician): Halves time taken to use consumables. 
  • MediTech (Technician): If you're wounded, power orbs heal you for half the amount of gained power.

Headgear-specific modifiers[]

  • Battle hardened: Damage reduction equal to pain percentage
  • Blast Padding: -50% splash damage
  • Blast shield: -75% splash damage
  • Boost protocol: Using Stealth clears all negative effects and gives 5 seconds of Stimmed effect
  • Botscanner: Reveals turrets and bots on the minimap.
  • Cleanse Protocol: Using Adrenaline clears all negative effects, and heals twice as much.
  • Crit Enhancer X: Increases critical damage
  • Critical X: Increased critical chance (additive)
  • Darkvision: Increases range of vision by 2 in dark areas.
  • Exit scanner: Reveals standard elevators and exits on the minimap.
  • Hacking rig: Increases your Hacking skill level by 1.
  • Heatvision: Reveals enemy positions around you in a radius signified by the number next to the perk name.
  • Long-range tracking: Increases max range for all weapons by one.
  • Network scanner: Terminals are always visible on the minimap. Unlike Networker, this does not show manufacturing, healing or technical stations.
  • Nightvision: Increases range of vision by 1 in dark areas.
  • Scent dampener: Significantly reduces range of veing detected by scent
  • Smoke screamer: enemies in smoke take +50% damage from you attacks
  • Supply scanner: Lootboxes are always visible on the minimap. Effectively identical to Golddigger.
  • Target tracking: Increases optimal range for all weapons by one.
  • Tactical computer: +20% to experience gained.
