Angel of Vampirism is a challenge unlocked by reaching the Corporal rank.
Description[]
You need to taste blood! As long as you kill stuff, you keep being healthy. On the downside, medkits and stimpacks don't work, and your health slowly degenerates!

Additional notes[]
- Health decreases by 1 every few turns while above 25hp. The rate of degeneration quickens in higher difficulties.
- Medkits and stimpacks do not heal but still apply their other functions (remove pain, apply stimmed status, etc.)
- Medical stations do not heal either, but picking "increase health" still increases both maximum and current health.
- Player still can receive healing from other sources (Marine's Adrenaline, Auto-med, picking Ironman trait, etc.)
- Players will be healed by enemies dying offscreen, such as from the infighting in Io.
- The healing for killing enemies is increased by the Health Monitor armor perk.

The formula for health regen is as follows:
5 + math.ceil( enemy max HP / ( 7 + 3 * Difficulty))
This makes eliminating a security bot heal 17hp on Easy and 10hp on UV. Below is a table with hp restore values for various enemies on Easy:
